Volunteering at Cumberland

Wanting to get involved at the Cumberland Church? Here are some ways to volunteer...

Getting involved at the Cumberland Church...

"For just as we have many members in one body and all the members do not have the same function, so we who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another"

Romans 12:4-5

God calls us to be one body. If you feel a calling to get involved in what God is doing, here are somethings that are available at the Cumberland Church.

  • Media/Sound Volunteer

It takes people to make Sunday's happen. Someone is always needed to assist with Sunday morning sound and media.

  • FamJAM Volunteer

FamJAM is our Wednesday night program for kids K-5. This ministry takes a lot of volunteers. There are opportunities to help in the kitchen, to serve as a "table parent" that help during dinner time, to teach, to help with games and other activities, and to greet people as they come and go.

  • VBS Volunteer

VBS will happen one day this year on July 18, 2020. We will need volunteers to help in any possible way. This will be a big event that will take a big number of volunteers! :)

  • Youth Volunteer

Our youth pastor, Wyatt, is always looking for extra hands to help with youth activities. If you are interested in helping with youth specifically, click here to fill out the Youth Volunteer Application.

  • Visiting Volunteer

Our Associate Pastor, Annetta, frequently makes visits to those on the prayer list or those that are no longer able to get out. If you like to visit, fill out the form below!

  • The Giving Tree

Located in the hallway of the main building, there is a tree with many jobs that need to be done around church. Check it out and feel free to volunteer!

  • Stock a Storage Room

Canned goods and non-perishables, blankets, hygiene items are always needed. This is an ongoing giving ministry. If you feel led to give, leave the items in the church office.

Simply fill out the short form below if you are interested in volunteering in any of these areas.
